With the increase of our nation’s economic, the public’s life becomes plenty day by day, andcars as the most convenient private vehicle become more and more popular in our daily life. But atthe same time, the air pollution is serious in the city, and some negative effect such as frequenttraffic accidents are also aggravated with it. Therefore, people put forward higher requirements oncars’ dynamic, safety, economic, energy conservation and environment protection.Engine is compared as the heart of cars, which has decisive influence on the performance ofcars. Apart from structure design, manufacture technology and electronic control to improve itsoptimization, concerned performance and the test work on reliability also play a vital role in theperformance of the engine.Engine test system is the main method of testing all kinds of performance and reliability ofcars. On the basis of the existing software and hardware conditions in the laboratory, a set of engineintegrated measurement and control system is designed in this paper, which is based on theparameter self-tuning fuzzy PID control algorithm and takes STM32chip as the core.Firstly, the current research status about engine test both at home and abroad are introduced indetail in this paper, and the content and significance of the work in this study are also expounded.Secondly, the physical equipment composition of the system and the corresponding industrialrequirements are simply introduced, and the test project need to be realized, the relevant testparameters, the corresponding control parameters and the test standard need to be reached are allexplained in detail in this paper. At the same time, simple mathematical modeling and analysis onthe system have been done, and based on the comprehensive analysis of the advantages anddisadvantages of all kinds of advanced control algorithm, the design of the parameter self-tuningfuzzy PID controller is finished, and simulation test is done by using MATLAB.Then, in this paper, the hardware circuit design of the central controller of the measurementand control system is finished, including the power supply circuit of the system, the peripheralcircuit of STM32chip, the drive circuit of the accelerator executor, the drive circuit of the electriceddy current dynamometer, and the acquisition circuit of different performance parameters such astemperature and pressure. At the same time, the design work on the reliability of the systemhardware is explained inductively.Finally, the software system of central controller is compiled simply by KEIL software,including the design of the main program, the realization of the algorithm controller and thefunction call and process design of related function subprogram; The human-computer interface which is based on the touch panel made by Beijing Kunluntongtai company is made through theMCGS configuration software. At the same time, the reliability design of the system software isbriefly introduced in this paper as well.
