Compared with the single energy output, wind and solar power generation takeadvantages of combination energy to achieve the complementary and output stability. Formaking full use of renewable resources, energy management and optimal sizing design ofstand-along wind-solar hybrid power system has important theoretical and practicalsignificance. This paper mainly optimized the wind and solar hybrid power system, whichexplored methods to estimate the remaining battery capacity, designed hardwarewind-solar hybrid controller with MC56single chip, including the following aspects:Firstly, this paper had an in-depth understanding on SOC test and identified thestrengths and weakness of each method, presenting a new SOC estimation algorithm modelbased on MARS, which makes a foundation for wind and solar power generation energymanagement control system.Secondly, wind and solar power generation energy management system was designedwith fuzzy control theory to improve the efficiency of power system, taking between SOCand system output power difference as input, and taking system status as output, then tablecontrol with fuzzy control algorithm was simulated with MATLAB.Thirdly, this paper proposed an improved capacity of wind and solar powergeneration system configuration mathematical optimization model, compared with thetraditional configuration system capacity mode. Traditional mathematical optimization andnew proposed model were compared using HOMER with the actual area of data, thenverified the improved algorithm.Finally, this paper designed peripheral circuit and other hardware of controller withMC56F8245VLD chip; used fuzzy control algorithm as the core of the control strategy ofsoftware programming; then debugged the designed controller; verified the feasibility offuzzy control strategy by experimental.
