Panoramic sight instrument is an important component of missile weapon systemand its dynamic angle tracking precision directly influences the real-time guidanceprecision of the missile. The tasks of panoramic sight instrument is to complete thecapture, tracking and measuring of moving object, which needs the premise of thetracking stability and accuracy. Therefore, the key technical indicators to measurepanoramic sight instrument is the tracking performance and precision of anglemeasurement.In the past, the indoor testing equipments of dynamic angle measurement forpanoramic sight instrument have some problems, such as being unable to test and theaccuracy is not high enough. They have been unable to meet the development needsof the modern photoelectric detection, tracking and measuring equipment. Thus,based on the needs of the battlefield front measurement, the two axes and two framedynamic angle tracking precision testing system is proposed. The system is used tomeasure the tracking accuracy for the panoramic sight instrument based on biaxialfour frame structure. It can simulate the targets in different speed, acceleration.The main work of this paper is the design and accuracy analysis for the opticaland mechanical structure of the target simulation unit and motion unit. Firstly, theoverall design scheme of the testing system is proposed. By establishing themathematical model of the relative motion between the simulated target and thepanoramic sight instrument the, the testing principle is analized. Secondly, the targetsimulation unit and target motion unit of the testing system are designed. TheCassegrain type R-C system is selected and the multi spectral coaxial partition systemis put forward, which is beneficial to eliminate the calibration of the instrumentimbalance. The mechanical structure and the axis are designed and its static analysisis studied. Finally, the system uncertainty is evaluated according to the designmethod.The testing system proposed in this paper provides the precise, effective andreliable means for the evaluation and testing of the multi spectral detector in different view field of angle tracking. The angle tracking accuracy measurement for panoramicsight instrument is greatly improved.
