This paper focuses mainly on supporting technologies of the cultivation of film-mulched flue-cured tobacco seedlings, including specific techniques on the depth of well-cellar, injection amount of mixed solution of water and fertilizer for rooting, leafage and associated requirements for tobacco transplantation, and transplanting timing arrangements at Tobacco Trial Areas (TTAs) in Guizhou province.Through research, test, analysis and comparison of yield and quality, the optimum technical key-points and procedure are defined for the technology on the cultivation of well-cellar type film-mulched flue-cured tobacco seedlings at Tongren City, Guizhou Province.The optimum parameters include:a conical shaped well-cellar having a diameter of8-9cm and a depth of20cm provides the most suitable micro-environment for tobacco seedlings, an injection of140-160ml of nutrition water for rooting into the well-cellar provides the most suitable amount for the growth of tobacco seedlings, a tobacco seedling with3or4leaves’leaf age when transplanted shows relatively stronger vitality, and the best transplanting time varies depending on specific TTAs, where it is around April1for Si’nan TTA and around April5for Songtao TTA, and under which time duration the transplanted flue-cured tobacco plants have the highest survival rate and the single transplanted seedling has the most vigorous vitality.
