Intelligent agriculture usually refers to keeping the processes of the growth of crops in arelatively controlled environment, and making advanced agricultural facilities and greenhousescombined with scientific technical standards and high benefit of intensive scale operationthrough the use of advanced production mode of industrialization to achieve an intensiveefficient sustainable development of modern agriculture. No matter which season it is and nomatter when it is, the dream of large-scale planting of crops comes true with applying ofintelligent agricultural technology. According to business requirements, it is necessary to designsystem architecture in a reasonable way and do a lot of jobs on analyzing of the functionalmodules for building a perfect intelligent agricultural system with high quality and efficient.Aiming at the core technology of the system, the main contents are as follows:1. First of all, it is necessary to make an analysis and summary about problems ofintelligent agriculture in our country, the development trend of intelligent agriculture and thecore technology of intelligent agricultural system through investigation and study of situation ofthe intelligent agriculture at home and abroad.2. Secondly, it is important to do a further research on the core technology involvingsystem building and lay a good theoretical foundation by studying technology of imagecompression coding and HTTP Adaptive Streaming. Studying the technology of the videomonitoring module for intelligent agricultural system through several aspects about thestreaming media transmission technology, playing mode and related protocols to prove thenecessity of using technology of adaptive streaming, and the research of its theory, codingtechnology and strategy of transmission control provides theoretical foundation for constructingreal-time monitoring module, then, I take an improved transmission strategy of adaptivestreaming as the solution for the system.3. Thirdly, the technology of interaction of database information based on XML can beused to information storage and data transmission, not only can effectively block thedisadvantages of multi-source and the background of heterogeneous, but also reduceunnecessary network traffic. With the help of the technology, defects of the server overloading have successfully solved and the efficiency of the system has significantly improved whichmeans operating costs reduced.4. Then, a solution of intelligent agriculture platform has been given based on index offunction and performance, module partition and design considerations. The platform has beenimplemented successfully through perfect demand analysis and detailed design.Finally, the system runs stably with various performance indicators meet the anticipatedtarget and each module’s function meets the needs of users during system testing and trialoperation. Reasonable use of this system in agricultural production will not only reducemanpower and energy consumption, but also improve the efficiency.
