Optimal Design Of Husking Device Of Corn Combine Harvester

This paper described the development situation of corn combine harvester and its corn husking device at home and abroad, and performed the system analysis of corn husking devices used widely in our country. And we discussed the advantages/disadvantages of the different corn husking devices. According to National" Twelfth Five-Year" Plan for Science&Technology Support and the science and technology development found projects of SINOMACH, the whole structure and the main parts of corn husking device were studied in order to improve the performance of the corn combine harvester and meet the needs of farmers. And a multi-index orthogonal experiment was carried out. The orthogonal experiment has3factors about the husking rolls and the suppressor. And each factor has3levels. According to the analysis of the experiment data, we found out the optimal combination which was examined by repeated experiments.According to the analysis of the experiment data, the conclusions we can drawn are as follows:â… . The optimal combination plan of the husking device is as follows:the rotational velocity of husking rolls is430r/min, the rotational velacity of suppressor is160r/min, the pressure that corn bears from suppressor is30N.â…¡. The rotational velocity of husking rolls and suppressor have a preminent effect on working performance of corn combine harvester husking device, but the pressure that corn bears from suppressor have a least effect among the3factors.â…¢. The corn combine harvester husking device with the optimal combination can lower the unhusking rate, grain loss rate, grain broken up rate and ear impurity rate. And the corn husking device works stably. It shows that the thought of strengthen husking ability, independent suppressor and appropriate rotational velocity of husking rolls and suppressor to optimize and improve corn husking device is correct and reasonable.â…£. This paper presents the constant pressure husking theory that every suppressor works independently and relies on gravity to exert forces on ear. And this theory is available in engineering.
