As one of the staple food crops, Corn is widely used in human’s daily life. With more and more research on corn combine reaping both stalk and spike, people increasing drew attention to stalk cutting device. This article design a kind of rotor cutting device to incise the corn stalks according to stalk cutting features of corn combine reaping both stalk and spike.By way of consulting the material analysis to make the conclusion, this article mainly presents the working principle of rotor cutting device, expounds the relationship between forward velocity and cutter revolving speed, and analyzes the force situation of rotor cutter at the same time. The optimal parameter of cutter and shaft are selected. The three dimension model of cutting device was built for dynamics simulation in the ANSYS/LS-DYNA environment to survey the curve of energy-time and force-time of cutting device. The modal analysis of shaft and cuter was calculated to avoid resonate effect.This article project orthogonal experiment, single factor experiment and optimal scheme repeated trial. The main factors which influence the orthogonal experiment were determined. The conclusion we can draw as follow after recording and analyzing the experiment data.I. The optimal combination plan of cutting device is:2 blades are installed in peripheral direction, the forward velocity is 4km/h, the cutter revolving speed is 1200r/min, the blade installation angle is 160°II. The rotor cuter revolving speed has a prominent effect on working performance of corn harvester stalk device, the forward velocity takes second place, the number of cutters installed in peripheral direction has a least effect among the three factors.III. The result of single factor experiment and optimal scheme repeated trial are in the 90% confidence interval, which is credible.IV. The design of rotor cutting device in this article is rational, its work performance is stable, and the experiment result is ideal.
