Objective:To explore the expression of Her-2and P21in epithelial ovarian carcinoma,benign epithelial ovarian tumors and normal ovarian tissues and their clinicalcorrelations. Studying their clinical pathological significances in order to provide newtheoretical basis for investigating the occurrence and the development of theepithelial ovarian carcinoma.Methods:Using immunohistochemical EnVision method to detecive the expression ofHer-2and P21in epithelial ovarian carcinoma, benign epithelial ovarian tumors andnormal ovarian tissues.Results:1. The positive expression rate of Her-2was22.0%(11/50) in epithelial ovariancancer,3.3%(1/30) in benign tumors and0.0%(0/20) in normal ovarian tissues,thedifference has statistics significance (P<0.05). Compared among the three groups,there was significant difference and statistically between epithelial ovarian cancer andnormal ovarian tissues,X2=5.12,P<0.05, the difference has statisticssignificance,compared with normal ovarian tissues,X2=5.22,P<0.05,the differencehas statistics significance,there was no significant difference and statistically betweenbenign tumors and normal ovarian tissues,X2=0.68,P>0.05,the difference has nostatistics significance.2. The positive expression rate of P21was30.0%(15/50) in epithelial ovariancancer,73.3%(22/30) in benign tumors and95.0%(19/20) in normal ovariantissues,the difference has statdstics significance(P<0.05).Compared among the threegroups,there was significant difference and statistically between epithelial ovariancancer and normal ovarian tissues,X2=14.16,P<0.05,the difference has statisticssignificance,compared with normal ovarian tissues,X2=24.16,P<0.05,the differencehas statistics significance,there was no significant difference and statistically betweenbenign tumors and normal ovarian tissues,X2=3.82,P>0.05,the difference has no statistics significance.3. The positive expression of Her-2refered to the surgery-pathological stagesand pathological grades(P<0.05),not associated with the histological types and lymphnode metastasis(P>0.05); The positive expression of P21refered to surgery-pathological stages,pathological grades and lymph node metastasis (P<0.05). We canfind in the experiment,The positive expression of P21has significant difference andstatistically between ovarian endometrioid adenocarcinoma and mucinouscystadenocarcinoma, X2=8.97, P<0.05, compared with serous adenocarcinoma,X2=12.67,P<0.05,the difference has statistics significance,there was no significantdifference and statistically between mucinous cystadenocarcinoma and serousadenocarcinoma,X2=0.066,P>0.05,the difference has no statistics significance.Conclusions:1.Her-2in normal ovarian tissues, benign epithelial ovarian tumors andepithelial ovarian carcinoma showed positive expression on rate of the trend ofgradually increasing,P21in normal ovarian tissues, benign epithelial ovarian tumorsand epithelial ovarian carcinoma showed positive expression on rate of the trend ofdecreased gradually.2.The positive expression rate of Her-2gradually increased with the progressiveof surgery-pathological stages and pathological grades.The positive expression rateof P21gradually decreased with the progressive of surgery-pathological stages andpathological grades.The positive expression rate of P21in ovarian endometrioidadenocarcinoma is much higher than other types of organizations.3.The high expression of Her-2may indicate a high degree of malignacy.Thelow expression of P21may indicate a high degree of malignacy.4.Her-2is not related with P21,the low expression of p21protein has nothing todo with the overexpression of Her-2protein.
