This article studied the theoretical base、clinical diaspense and therapeutic mechanismsof the treatment of the postoperative gastric carcinoma at the aspect of theory andpractice. The treatment is on the base of the deficiency of spleen and stomach by theinstruction of TCM theory.The article included the parts of theoretical and clinical practice. The part of theoreticalinvestigation analysed pathogeny and pathogenesis by the way of summarizing ancientliteratures and binding modem research.As a result, it raised that the weakness of spleenand stomach is essential pathogeny and pathogenesis. Therefore, invigorating spleen andpropelling qi prescription becomes chief therapeutic tools of the postoperative gastriccarcinoma. Moreover, the reasonableness of the methods has been demonstrated by theway of integrating modern medicine.On the clinic, invigorating spleen and propelling qi prescription has been invented totreat the patientcombing with chemical therapy on the base of this method.Compared groupwas only given chemical therapy,and treating group was given chemical and TCMtherapy.The outcome showed that differences had been displayed at aspects of stabling thetumor,improving the symptoms,decreasing CEA tites,rising immunological function,ameliorating hemorheology,and relieving toxic responses and side effects between the twogroups.Not only has the superiority of this kind of TCM method been proved,but also hasearly preparation done to manufacture pharmaceutics of the traditional Chinese medicine.
