This article studied the theoretical base, clinical diaspense and therapeutic mechanisms of the treatment of the late period gastric carcinoma at the aspact of theory and clinic. The treatment is on the base of the defiency of spleen and blood stasis combining clinical exercise by the instruction of TCM theory.The article includes the parts of theoretical and clinical investigation. The part of theoretical investigation analysed pathogeny and pathogenesis by the way of summarizing ancient literatures and binding modern achievements.As a result, it raised that the weakness of spleen and stomach is essential pathogeny and pathogenesis. It also suggested that the block of Qi and the the stasis of blood is the elementary agent of pathology. Therefore, reinforcing the function of spleen and resolving the stasis of blood become chief therapeutic tools of the late period gastric carcinoma. Moreover, the reasonableness of the methods has been demonstrated by the way of integrating modern medicine.On the clinic,Jan Pi Hua Yu decoction has been invented to cure the disease going with chemical therapy on the base of this memod.Compared group was only given chemical therapy,and treating group was given chemical and TCM therapy.The outcome showed that differences had been displayed at aspacts of stabling the tumor,improving the symptoms,decreasing CEA tites,rising immunological function, ameliorating hemorheology,and relieving toxic responses and side effects between the two groups.Not only has the superiority of this kind of TCM method been proved,but also has early preparation done to manufacture pharmaceutics of the traditional Chinese medicine.
