Comparative Sentences attach great importance in teaching Chinese as a foreign language and is one of the most important structures in learning Chinese. However, the studies on the effect of learning Comparative Sentences show that the effect is not so good. With the development of modern technology, especially the exploration of the network technology, traditional teaching models are replaced by the new teaching model with the multimedia facilities. This thesis focuses on the matter that whether the use of multimedia facilities can really enhance the teaching effect of Comparative Sentences.30Chinese learners from two paralleled classes are chosen in this experiment. Before the teaching phrases, all the30learners have a pre-test. Then15learners have the traditional class and the other15learners have the class based on the multimedia environment. After the class, learners from the2classes have another test and the test results are being processed by SPSS.The conclusion is that the teaching effect of the Comparative Sentences in the class based on the multimedia environment owns great advantages over that of the traditional class due to the teaching environment. So we advocate that multimedia technology should be widely used in the classes of teaching Chinese as a foreign language.
