Study On The Chinese Characters Of Traditional Enlightenment Teaching Materials

We select both Chinese and Korean QianZiWen as the subject investigated. Though studying the changes of the Chinese characters shapes in both synchronic and diachronic aspects with using mang methods like system description, diachronic comparison, statistical analysis of history quantitative data etc, we find its development and disseminating discipline and conclude the principle of optimality.The research result shows that the amount of the Chinese characters of the reading materials has greater relationship with the Chinese characters of QianZiWen. But the reading materials have changed some amount in the QianZiWen. Despite of the reason for basic vocabulary, it is also relative to the culture environment of the dynasty, which also the reason of the amount of the Chinese characters of the Korean QianZiWen. The Chinese characters shape of the QianZiWen is from kai calligraphy to stabilization sub stage, but simplifying on both strokes and component aspects. Because of its particularity in education, its Chinese characters shapes will be affected by the country policy of Chinese characters. After it disseminated to Korea, its characters shapes have been adjusted in the inscriptions.This thesis is divided into six parts and some schedules.The introduction section describes the purpose, the research status and the methods.The first chapter introduces the spreading of the enlightenment reading materials, especially the spreading of QianZiWen and the Chinese character education norms.The second chapter makes the measure analysis from both sum and dynasty. Making match analysis with the amount of the Chinese characters of the reading materials and the Chinese characters of QianZiWen to reveal its changing and replacing, we find the reason of the replacement is because the basic amount and the environment has changed a lot.The third chapter makes the shape analysis in strokes, components and the whole characters. The Chinese characters shape of the QianZiWen simplify on both strokes and component aspects, its Chinese characters shapes will be affected by the country policy of Chinese characters. The fourth chapter is the supplementary of the third chapter, which describes its development and disseminating discipline. The fifth chapter analyzes the disseminating discipline. Through connecting the principle of optimality and sorting the changes happened in the shape and amount, we find simplification also happens in Korea and the changing amount has a fixed amount.
