This thesis mainly discusses absorption of dialect words in comprehensive textbooks in thesenior teaching Chinese as a foreign language. since the investigation and analysis for thedialect words in six sets of more representative intensive reading textbooks in20century80’s, and we analysis for the common and popular degree of dialect words in teachingmaterials by referring to the“Modern Chinese dictionary,International chinese eduation withchinese characters syllable vocabulary classification”, pointed out that we should properlyabsorb and introduce the commonly used dialect words in the senior comprehensive textbooksfor teaching Chinese as a foreign language, as a useful supplement, which is more helpful forforeigner students’ learning and communication. This thesis mainly adopts the statistical method,questionnaire, comparison and analysis, and puts forward suggestions how to introduce thedialect words in textbooks.On the basis of statistical analysis, we found that six sets of comprehensive textbooks showthe following trends in the dialect words: the overall number is less, but the proportion ofadvanced stage is higher than the primary stage, especially the advance stage has the highestnumber; although the overall number is less, but also embodies the certain recurrence rate andfrequency, there are still some commonly used dialect words; the social life dialect words occupya dominant position, embodies the certain practicabilityCombined with the exiting research results, we recommend that absorb more dialect wordsby the flexibility of the WBV in the senior comprehensive textbooks, and we should payattention to the utility principle, and gives specific suggestion.
