This paper mainly uses the method of quantitative analysis, from the lasted point to study thechangement of vocabulary in primary and intermediate teaching material of spoken Chinese ofteaching Chinese as a second language.The paper takes10years as a period, each period choose4sets of primary and intermediateteaching material of spoken Chinese, then establishes the lexicons of the1980s, the1990s andthe21century separately to inspect the changement of the parts of speech and word-class ofvocabulary in the teaching materials, the Register of the new words that over the outine ofvocabulary, the word-class of the common words and expressions,the neologism absorbed oflexicon of three periods, and also makes an investigation and analysis of stylistic situation in thevocabulary of three periods.The main conclusion of this paper as follows:1. The percentage of every speech of vocabulary in each period is similar with the outine. Thechangement of the words that not be maked is the most obvious, in which the idioms areabsorbed much more in the the1990s and the21century.2. New words that over the outine of vocabulary in the the1990s and the21century are absorbedmuch more, mostly of them originated from the vocabulary of the social life.3. Most of the words that over the outine of vocabulary of the common words and expressionshave been absorbed by The Graded Chinese Syllables, Characters and Words for the Applicationof Teaching Chinese to the Speakers of Other Languages.4. Compared to the1980s, the neologism absorbed of lexicon in the the1990s and the21centuryare much more, but still occupied a very small proportion.5. The stylistic situation of the most new words are neutral style, then followed by the spokenstyle and written style.
