The thesis aims at to generalize key influencing factors in conferenceinterpreting from the perspective of Interpretive Theory. The author starts with areview of interpretive theory and the triangle mode and draws her conclusion basedon her real interpreting experience. Chapter One is literature review. Interpretivetheory and the triangle mode are reviewed. Chapter Two focuses on the theoreticalframework in conference interpreting. The author first gives us an introduction ofconference interpreting and discusses the key concepts occurred in interpretive theory.Process of Conference interpreting is thoroughly analyzed from the perspective ofinterpretive theory. In Chapter Three, based on thorough understanding of the theory,the author presents the key influencing factors affecting conference interpreting,namely linguistic and extra-linguistic knowledge, cultural differences and factorsfrom addresser and addressees, and elaborates each of them respectively. ChapterFour gives the thesis practical values by combining the theoretical discussion withreal interpreting experiences. The author further discusses these influencing factors inconference interpreting with examples from real case and explores correspondingstrategies. Chapter Five is the conclusion.
