Malaysian students often encounter word order errors in their Chinese Languagelearning process. The reason is that both Chinese and Malay Languages have significantdifferences in word orders and expressions, which can easily cause negative transfer to thestudents. Besides the Malay Language, there are other languages which are widely used inMalaysia, such as Tamil, English, Cantonese, Hokkien, Hakka and many other dialects.This environment stimulates hybridity and influences among the many languages.Furthermore, the significance of the Chinese adverbs, conjunctions, auxiliary virtualcomponent usage is complex and difficult for students to master. Therefore theresponsibility of teachers is to focus on explaining and training students in thesecomponents.The first chapter analyzes types of biasness among Malaysian students and the secondchapter analyzes the cause of the error. The last chapter contains recommendations forfuture references.
