As "Chinese fever" is getting around the world, Mongolia is also getting a lot of people learning Chinese language. Currently, the studies toward situation of Mongolia Chinese language teaching is mainly base on Ulaanbaatar area. Other areas are less involved.This thesis first introduce the distribution of Mongolia Chinese language teaching, which Mongolian National University and Khovd University can be represent as Mongolia city and pasturing area in Chinese language teaching. This thesis choose those universities as the research subject, through observation, interview, speech campaign and survey methods to understand the situation on Chinese language teaching in Khovd University and Mongolian National University. Moreover, this thesis also shows entirely the current situation of Chinese language teaching in university of Mongolia city and pasturing area, where all the teachers condition, students condition, course setup condition and the used of teaching materials are taken into analysis. In addition, the main reasons to the restrictions on development of Chinese language teaching in Khovd University are found such as education is not priorities, short of teachers, deficient in teaching materials, and Khovd University does not focus on learning Chinese language foundation. At last, this thesis brings up some suggestions about the government department and the universities.This thesis can be seen as the study of Chinese language teaching in Mongolia beside Ulaanbaatar area to fulfill the research. The author of this thesis hopes that it can interest even more researcher to further study and improve the topic. While author also hope this thesis can be the reference for future researcher when researching Mongolian Chinese language teaching. Therefore, this thesis has its value.
