New words list in Textbooks is a very important part of the class, and take a big proportion of class time, but sometimes the results are unsatisfactory. The reasons because:Teachers feel has to explain clearly the Chinese characters, and students also understand it, but when heard student express it, there is mistakes. In addition, the new words in Chinese textbooks are not arranged well, and the level of difficulty words of textbooks is inequality. These problems are prevalent in Teaching Chinese as a Foreign Language.The innovation of this thesis is the text books are used in primary level of foreign students in first semester, We investigated new words list in3sets of primary level text books 《Chinese tutorial》(The first and Second book),《Road to success》(Beginners and Start chapter1,2),《Development of chinese》(Second edition), we also analysis the style on the words, new words statistics, the level of difficulty words of3sets of text books. So we can understand the bias causes of text books in primary level, and also let teachers understand the common problem of students while study the new words list in the text books, Be able to adjust the progress of teaching, and teaching strategies. This is mainly direction in this thesis and hope this thesis can provide advantages contribution for teacher and students.
