The phenomenon of Korean traditional literati responsing to TaoYuanming has dual meanings both of literature acceptance and culturetransmission. The poem and the ci fu that responsing to Tao Yuanming occupydifferent place in this process. This paper summarize the standing of thatci fu at the history of chinese ancient literature at first, by concludingthe discussions about Tao Yuanming’s Gui qu lai xi ci at the history ofchinese literature. Afterwards, this paper analysis the acceptance aboutKorea’s Chinese literature to Gui qu lai xi ci, by reading the “He taoci” which were written by Gaoli and Lichao dynasty’s literati. Inconclusion, interpret the transmisssion of Tao Yuanming at the koreanpeninsula on the whole, and the attention and study to Tao Yuanmingliterature from modern Korean.The discussion about the phenomenon of responsing to Tao Yuanming hasgot great achievement on the field of ancient Chinese literature research.However, this achievement doesn’t include the whole Tao’s literature,and the study about “He tao ci” is weakness for the moment. For aimportant constituent part of Tao Yuanming literature,“He tao ci”hasn’t receive much attention. And in the overseas study of Tao Yuanming,“He tao ci” is also difficult in comparison with “He tao shi”. Koreahas frequent political and cultural exchanges with China since ancienttimes, and accepts Chinese ancient culture more than the surroundingcountries. The responsing to Tao Yuanming is a important culturalphenomenon in Korea’s literary world. As for “He tao ci”, there areas many as400articles. But the study about “He tao ci” in South Koreais also scanty.Tao Yuanming entered the Korean Peninsula during the period of Xinluofor the first time, because of the literature exchanges between China andKorea. At that time, a large number of literary works were got back tothe motherland from the Tang dynasty by Xinluo students. The "selectedworks of Zhao Ming" which carrying Tao Yuanming poems is one of the popularclassic. The acceptance and dissemination about Tao Yuanming in Korea hasexperienced several ups and downs. And it was always accompanied with thesocial and historical background of change.“He tao ci” became a bannerwhich representing literati feelings like “He tao shi” after Xinluodynasty.Since the “He gui qu lai ci” written by Li Renlao to start, and the“Fan gui qu lai ci” written by Jin Changshu to end, the Korean literati’s “He tao ci” spread all over the ages of Korea, even far morethan the Chinese literati’s “He gui qu lai ci”. Investigate its reason,it is probably the different political background of two countries. Therelationship between politics and culture is always the focus of academicresearchers concern, as the economic foundation for the superstructure.Research about Korea’s “He tao ci” is not only a academic researchon culture field, but also a society study which would feel history byliterature. This study not only could detect the creation tendency andliterary meaning of native Korean literati, but also could get acomprehensive understanding about the acceptance and criticism of foreignculture by Korean literati and the social background to which creates theliterary atmosphere. It has important meaning to the research of Chineseand foreign literature of Tao Yuanming.
