A Study On Fangbao’s Thought Of His Studies Of The Spring And Autumn

Since the Qing Dynasty, Fang Bao is always known as litterateur by people.However, his grestest contributions are not only on the literature, but the academicthoughts. This thesis just regards him as an theorist, which based on the trend of hisacademic thoughts, the circumstances at that time and the academic atmosphere andother factors.This paper reveals Fang’s usage thoughts mainly by his works about TheSpringAnd Autumn, placed such academic thoughts in the whole academicenvironment so that we can grasp the overall about the Fang and have a realrecognition.In addition, the Qing dynasty instead the Ming dynasty is not the rose and fellasjust only two dynasties, but the change about two races. It is extremely significantthat the the new regime accepted by the scholar-officials, which always have auniversal approbation idea of Chinese and barbarian. Therefore, through Fang’s worksabout the Spring and Autumn, which concludes the idea of Chinese and barbarian, wecan detect the intellectuals’ attitudes to the new rulers after the change of Ming andQing. And we can also find out the changes about the academic thoughts of thesescholar-officials. This is the purpose of writing this paper.
