The paper divides 16 groups single and double syllable directional words with the same morpheme into 4 categories, and studies the similarities and differences of the syntactic and semantic functions. There are two main syntactic functions, one is as syntactic ingredients, including subject, verb object, prepositional object, attribute, adverbial and so on, another is to be placed after the nouns or noun phrases, verbs or verb phrases, quantifiers, pronouns and others. Semantic functions include basic spatial orientation meaning and extended meaning. Different single and double syllable directional words have different syntactic and semantic functions.Based on studying the ontology rules, the paper studies the acquisition of the target. Firstly, this paper studies the acquisition of single and double syllable absolute directional words with the same morpheme. The paper finds the acquisition features as follows:the correct rates of single syllable absolute directional words show an upward trend at primary, intermediate and advanced stage, at the same time, its error proportion is the largest. The usage frequency and correct rates of "--fang" are the highest, and its errors are concentrated in advanced stage. Thus, this paper obtains the acquisition order of single and double syllable absolute directional words. As for the error examples, the paper analyses the mutual mis-substitution of single and double syllable absolute directional words, and the mutual mis-substitution of double syllable absolute directional words. Finally, this paper proposes suggestions for the syllabuses and teaching materials.Secondly, this paper studies the acquisition of single and double syllable relative directional words with the same morpheme. The paper finds the acquisition features as follows:the correct rates of relative directional words are gradually increasing at 3 stages; the usage frequency of single syllable relative directional words is the highest, and the number of errors is the most. Thus, this paper obtains the acquisition order of single and double syllable relative directional words. As for the error examples, the paper analyses the mutual mis-substitution of single and double syllable relative directional words, the mutual mis-substitution of relative directional words and other grammatical ingredients, the mutual mis-substitution of prepositions, and the mutual mis-substitution of collocation ingredients. Finally, this paper proposes suggestions for the syllabuses and teaching materials.Besides, this paper studies the acquisition of single and double syllable double reference directional words with the same morpheme. The paper finds the acquisition features as follows:the correct rates of single syllable double reference directional words are relatively high. and. the error proportion of "shang" is the largest. The correct rates of double syllable double reference directional words show great difference, but the number of their errors is very small,which is all under ten. Thus, this paper obtains the acquisition order of single and double syllable double reference directional words. As for the error examples, the paper analyses the mutual mis-substitution of single and double syllable double reference directional words, the mutual mis-substitution of single syllable double reference directional words, the mutual mis-substitution of double syllable double reference directional words, the mutual mis-substitution of directional ingredients and others, the mutual mis-substitution of prepositions, and the mutual mis-substitution of collocation ingredients.
