A Translation Practice Report On An Introduction To Islamic Finance:Theory And Practice (Chapter11)

This is a translation practice report about the author’s translating experiences and reflections based on her translation of An Introduction to Islamic Finance:Theory and Practice (Chapter11). In this translation practice, the translator has her own thoughts and reflections, and therefore, to further improve her translation, the translator composes this practice report based on this translation practice.The report is divided into four parts:Part One is an introduction to the translation practice background and its significance. Part Two introduces the main contents of the source text, and analyses the linguistic features of the source text. Part Three discusses the translation difficulties and the solutions to these difficulties. The difficulties mainly lie in how to convey the exact information of the various special terms and long sentences. The translation methods are put forward thereafter to solve these difficulties. Part Four concludes with the lessons, implication and unsolved problems in the translation practice.
