Negation both in the process of Korean’s learning Chinese or Chine se’s learning Korean is the obstruction worth investigating. In the course of the foreign language learning, the misuse of negation will frequently occur in the expression affected by the mother tongue. The comparison and investigation about the negation in the Korean and Ch inese is conducted through the angle of vocabulary and syntax. This p aper contains the in-depth investigation following the previous summa ry on the result of the investigation, and the comparative analysis o n the expression method of the Korean in Korean and Chinese through t he angle of pragmatics. The results of the comparative analysis in the angle of vocabulary, syntax and pragmatics are as follows:1. First, from the angle of negation word. The negation word is app ropriate to be put in the font and rear part of predicate core word i n Chinese while it is only appropriate to be put before the predicate core word vocabulary. In the short negative sentence, the negation w ord is stable in Korean that often appears before the predicate core word while in Chinese the negation word appears not only before the c ore word but also before other speech, only the meaning differentiate s. The negation word in Korean is considered to be the opposite side of the positive structure. The definition indicates the existence of an objective while negation indicates the non-existence of an objecti on, Chinese has a different story.2. From the perspective of syntactic, there are some differences on the contrast of typical negative form in Korean and Chinese. The cha racteristic of a certain word after the negative word is restrictive, Korean and Han corresponding negative meaning also is not applicable to everything, which involves the problem of narrow meaning and mean ing to expand objective negation. However, objective negation, will n egation and the ability of expression negation in the process of the choice of words is limited in the system. On the time-system, though Chinese negation is not as obvious as Korean, negation of Korean is o n the use of all the Chinese demand.3. From the perspective of pragmatics, Korean negative forms can be achieved by using different words, changing the imperative sentences to rhetorical euphemism. Chinese can express different meaning throu gh different intonation and pronunciation. Pragmatic theory is widely used in our daily life, from the speaker’s psychological state, and pronunciation in the process of answer, we can make judgment of the n egative meaning expression.Negative expression of Korean and Chinese form has many similariti es, there are also many differences. So according to the mother tongu e thinking in the learning process, a lot of confusion and misuse wil1appear. These differences are not only because of different languag es of Korean and Chinese but the language used way and habits. Especi ally in the process of expressing negation, it also involves the expr ession, culture and custom of different countries.Through the perspective of pragmatics, the negative meaning of the Korean and Chinese forms of expression are compared in this paper. I hope it can offer help to the Korean language learning between the t wo countries and researchers. In the process of mutual learning, disc ussion, researching, we can study more extensively, more practically and more deeply.
