Nowadays, interpretation plays an increasingly important role in interculturalcommunication. Plenty of researches related to consecutive interpretation have alsobeen conducted in recent years. The author, as an interpreter, took part in threelectures in educational seminars organized by Northeast Normal University in2012.Through the author’s interpretation, the lectures and the trainees exchange educationopinions without the barrier of language.However, some errors and deficiencies exist in the interpretation. This thesis is areflective report on the interpretation transcript. It is hoped that the thesis can provideas reference for other interpretation learners.The thesis consists of five chapters in total. First is the brief introduction to theeducational seminars and the background of the lectures chosen; then comes to theanalysis of the source text in the aspect of accent, speech fillers, fixed expressions andsentences; analysis of the interpretation transcript is conducted in both merits anderrors in Chapter Three, as well as the causes for the errors; in Chapter Four, solutionsand suggestions aiming at memory, understanding and expression are given toimprove interpretation performance; and conclusions are drawn in the last chapter.
