The purpose of teaching Chinese as a foreign language is not only to studentsproficiency in Chinese, but also to train students to use Chinese interculturalcommunication. Non-verbal communication and language communication bothcomplement each other so that the communication activities can be carried outsmoothly, but the emphasis is often placed in the communicative process in languagecommunication. But in the communicative process often only concerned about thecontent of the language communication, that discourse is an effective way of passinginformation. Nonverbal Communication has been neglected, but it plays anirreplaceable role in language communication in cross-cultural communication. As thenon-verbal behavior in a particular culture, reflecting the different cultures of thehuman. For a long time, nonverbal communication is not taken seriously enough inTeaching Chinese as a Foreign Language. International students often due tonon-verbal communication errors lead to cultural conflict. Therefore, the Chinese as aforeign language classroom, not only to impart knowledge of the language, moreattention should be paid to the cultivation of cultural awareness and the ability ofnon-verbal communication.This article has five chapters, The first chapter is an introduction. The firstchapter is the introduction, introduce topics. The brief research purposes andmethods,aswell as Related Research. The second function from the non-verbalcommunication, communication and language differences and connections to explorethe significance of non-verbal communication. The third chapter to discuss non-verbalsymbols of cultural differences in language for non-verbal symbols among countrieswith mistakes. Chapter IV from the perspective of teachers and students discuss theuse of non-linguistic signs of the Chinese as a foreign language classroom, andfocuses on how to strengthen cross-cultural non-verbal communication ability inteaching Chinese as a foreign language. In last chapter, aim at the problem that thestudent abroad meets in the non-language social intercourse process launches ofthinking and suggestion.
