A Research On The Agricultural Development Of Longnan Region During Qing Dynasty

China is an agricultural country, agricultural economy occupies an importantposition in the whole social life. Longnan area is located in the southeast of GansuProvince, has important strategic position, the central government attaches greatimportance to the development of the land, agricultural development to the QingDynasty in Longnan area has reached a new level. In this paper, the main use of QingDynasty and the Republic China related literature and Longnan gazetteers, andapplied econometrics methods such as quantitative analysis of the number ofpopulation of Longnan in Qing Dynasty, Da such as the number of indicators, acomprehensive and in-depth study of agricultural development in Longnan during theQing Dynasty, in order to restore agricultural development in Qing Dynasty the areaof the historical appearance, reveal the relationship between agricultural developmentand natural environment, human environment, the ecological environment influenceand restrict mutually, experiences and lessons of agricultural development in this areato explore and summarize the historical period, provide constructive reference foragriculture and society in this area today will be the economic harmony, sustainabledevelopment.This paper is divided into five chapters. The development of the author mainlyfrom the following five aspects combined with the social environment, to study theregional agriculture in Longnan in Qing dynasty.The first chapter mainly introduces the geographical environment of Longnan inQing dynasty. The development of agriculture by the influence of the naturalconditions, the author analyzes the advantages and disadvantages of factors on thedevelopment of agriculture in the area from the geographical location, topography,soil and vegetation, water resources, climate resources etc.The second chapter analyze the impact on the development of agriculture in thearea from the Longnan area in the Qing Dynasty social environment. Firstly, theauthor of a series of preferential agricultural policies of the Qing Dynasty to the administrative system and the Qing Dynasty in the region; secondly discusses thepopulation and labor resources in Qing Dynasty in Longnan area, to estimate thenumber of the agricultural population, reveal the Qing Dynasty population resourcesin Longnan area and labor resources for agricultural development importance.The third chapter discusses the development status of water in this area in Qingdynasty. Water is the source of all life, is essential to human life and productionactivities in the material. In this paper a new repair water conservancy project inLongnan in the statistics, and discusses the Qing Dynasty Longnan water conservancyachievements influence on agricultural development of this region.Fourth chapter from the Qing Dynasty Longnan farming and land reclamationand land use of the area agriculture. Author of Longnan area in Qing Dynasty cropvarieties and crop planting condition systematically reflected the area in the QingDynasty, the agricultural development has entered a new stage.The fifth chapter is the last part of this paper, the author analysis themanifestations and causes of changes of the environment of the Qing Dynasty fromLongnan in the Qing Dynasty agricultural development and environmentalperspective, summed up the experience of agricultural development in Longnan in theQing Dynasty to today this area development.
