With the economy of China develops rapidly, China has been more and more importantin the world. Now a lot of people around the world take pleasure in study Chinese language.So far, with the cooperation of more than100countries over350Confucius Institute and500Confucius Classroom have been built. Thailand has the largest population who studyChinese. This study history has been more than200years. From2003to2012, Hanbanalready sent7000Chinese volunteers to Thailand. Chinese teaching in Thai has a greatprosperity.Although Thai Chinese teaching has a long history there still exist some problems.According to the author’s ten months Chinese teaching in Teeratada Phitsanulok School inThai, use observation methods, talks with the teachers and students, questionnaire surveyand comparative analysis to discover the problems.Teeratada has Chinese course already4years, the main problems are the school leaders,students and the parents didn’t realize the importance ofChinese language. Students got littletime to study Chinese, not many Chinese activities. The school doesn’t strict with studentsChinese score so that students are lazy to study Chinese. What’s more, every year inTeeratada there will be a new teacher that leads to the bad influence to the students’ learningcontinuous. Chinese teachers can use what textbook as they like, sometimes students shouldstudy the same knowledge twice. Almost no students use the books that from the donation ofHanban. Chinese teachers can’t speak Thai, there are obstacles about communication withThai teachers and students. Also the author thinks we can take some measures to solve thoseproblems to help Chinese teaching in Thai’s development.
