Thai vocational schools have offered Chinese courses as early as the 1970 s.These vocational schools include Bangkok Kyoto Business School,Ayutthaya Business College,and Chiang Mai Northwest Vocational and Technical School.As a compulsory course for vocational schools,Chinese and other foreign language courses are mainly set up to improve the employment rate of students.Among these many vocational schools,private vocational schools have broadened the employment prospects of students because of their strong professionalism in technical training and the internationalization of the learning atmosphere,making them the best choice for parents who want to succeed.However,what does not match is the long-term low teaching effect,which should attract the attention of a large number of friends who are engaged in Chinese teaching related work in Thailand.Therefore,this article conducts research on Chinese teaching issues in Thai private vocational schools,hoping to be able to It will provide reference and reference for Chinese teaching in Thai private vocational schools.The first chapter of this paper lists some of the research status of teaching Chinese as a foreign language,and briefly introduces the research background,purpose,method and significance of this paper.The second chapter describes the current situation of Chinese teaching in Aksorn Vocational School,Rayong.It mainly includes the basic situation and curriculum of the school,the situation of teachers,students,the selection of Chinese textbooks and the arrangement of selected Chinese textbooks.The two textbooks “Happy Chinese I”and “HSK Standard Course I” were introduced.The advantages and disadvantages of the two in terms of new words,texts,grammar points,and after-school practice settings were analyzed by examples.And shared the selection of volunteer teachers in the preparation and handling on the lessons.Chapter 3 shows the results of this questionnaire in a table.The questionnaire design consists of four survey items: the situation of the teaching object,the learningof the phonetic vocabulary,the overall situation of the Chinese class,the teacher and other related situations.A part of the tested students while answering or after submitting the questionnaire also received follow-up inquiries and in-depth interviews according to their specific conditions.In order to be able to accurately locate all factors that affect the results of this survey,and then expose the problems existing in the current Chinese teaching of our school,so as to make reasonable suggestions.Based on the situation reflected in the above survey report,in Chapter 4,I put forward some suggestions for Chinese teaching in our school and even all private vocational schools in Thailand,including the suggestions for Chinese phonetic and vocabulary teaching,for teaching method usage,for class management strategy,for textbook selection,for teaching team management settings and others.Most of them are feasible and effective by the author's own practice and comparison.I hope this article can provide some reference for volunteer teachers who are on the front line,and hope to bring some inspiration to Hanban and the Ministry of Education of Thailand,thus promoting the overall teaching level of private vocational schools in Thailand.
