| This thesis, based on a Chinese teaching practice of the author in Phrapathom Wittayalai School for one school year in Thailand, tries to reflect the current status and existing problems of Chinese teaching in Phrapahom Wittayalai school truthfully and comprehensively in order to bring about a development with corresponding solutions.The thesis is divided into6parts, depending on the principle of revealing, analyzing and solving. The1st part introduces the source of the topic, current status and methods of the research. The2nd part is a general introduction of Phrapahom Wittayalai School. The3rd part describe the current status of Chinese teaching of the school, including the Chinese teaching development history, the Chinese teachers, the curriculum arrangement, the Chinese textbooks, the classroom teaching, the Chinese extracurricular activities and the evaluation methods. The4th part reveals and analyzes the existing problems of Chinese teaching from the following aspects:Chinese teaching management of the school, the quality of Chinese teachers, the defects of Chinese textbooks and classroom teaching problems. The5th part offers corresponding solutions to all the problems described above, and the last part comes to a conclusion and admits the limitations of the study. |
