Shuangtuozi Phase I Culture is one of the Bronze Age Archaeological culturedistributed in South part of Liaodong Peninsula. The present thesis analyzes theculture factors on several typical sites of Shuangtuozi Phase I Culture, such asShuangtuozi site, Yujiacun site lower and Laotie Mountain Jiangjun MountainStones-accumulated tomb. And the pottery features of Shuangtuozi Phase I Cultureshows out characteristics from Shandong Dragon Mountain late culture to Yue Stoneearly culture. Meanwhile, in the unearthed cultural relics of Laotie Mountain Jiangjun Mountain Stones-accumulated tomb, quite a number of well-madeegg-shell pottery and black pottery are from Shandong region. It is thus clear thatculture exchange activities between the two sides were very often and the influencefrom Shandong Peninsula is very strong. However Shuangtuozi Phase I Culture stillinherited Liaodong Local culture factors which was not that prosperousduring thelate period of Xiaozhu Mountain, maintained local culture features, and at the sametime developed its own unique culture sense. The appearance of painted potteryessentially distinguished the Shuangtuozi Phase I Culture, Xiaozhu Mountain LateCulture and Shandong Dragon Mountain Culture. And the appearance of Bronzedagger-axe started the Bronze Age of Shuangtuozi Phase I Culture. Research onShuangtuozi Phase I Culture plays a very important role in the study of prehistoriccultural sequence of entire Liaodong Peninsula. The present paper re-combings anddiscusses the nature and chronology of Shuangtuozi Phase I Culture throughdetailed analyzing each sites and tombs of it.
