The Chinese are different from other major languages of the world, it lacks themorphological changes in the strict sense. Words are the main means of expression inChinese grammatical relations of main and collateral channels, plays a role inlanguage, which is one of the important characteristics of the Chinese language. Theadverb "却" and "'" in modern Chinese has a variety of meanings and usages, a highfrequency of use, is the difficulty of teaching in teaching Chinese as a foreignlanguage, and students often errors in place.This paper enumerates some predecessors of the "却" and "'" research results,including:"却" and "'" noumenon,"却" and "'" comparative study ","却" and "'" error analysis study.Then based on the Beijing University corpus investigation, somecombined with some previous results, summarized the adverb "却" and "'"grammatical meaning, syntactic functions and pragmatic functions, eachinduction of "却" and "'" are compared, and finally the "却" and "'"with other some transitionalwords are compared. Also through the investigation on the Beijing Language andCulture University corpus, the students in learning to use "却" and "'", the errorsoften occur, combined with examples of bias method error cause and solution. Finally,through the above research, comparison, analysis, summed up the "却" and "'"teaching strategies, including: teaching and teaching examples.It is very important to research on the "却" and "'" deeply and systematicallyfrom the angle of teaching Chinese as a foreign language. In this paper, on the basis ofprevious studies, combined with the gathered data from Chinese and interlanguagecorpus, through the research and analysis of students "却" and "'" in the process,teachers can better explain the error, correct the error, formulate scientific andeffective teaching strategies, so as to promote students learning Chinese grammar,making them less bias. Summary of foreign students in learning "却" and "'", whichcan provide the basis for our teaching and research,improve our level of teachingChinese as a foreign language. The "却" and "'" research is to provide more beneficial conditions for the study of modern Chinese adverb system. And on thisbasis, puts forward some suggestions, in order to contribute to the research andteaching Chinese as a foreign language in the future.
