The research topic is the jingle and its supporting role in teaching Chinese as aforeign language. Combined with linguistics, second language acquisition, teachingChinese as a foreign language and other disciplines of research methods, from relateddisciplines theory and research results are used to write this paper. This articledescribes the ancient Chinese Enlightenment Educational, Modern language rhymeLanguage Teaching, jingle and English teaching and the Jazz Chants pedagogy, tellsabout the origins of jingle and Language Teaching. Through analysis,we found thatjingle has the characteristics of its rhyme, rhythm clear, short and pithy, arranged inneat rows, composition is simple, the structure of a single, vivid, expressive andextensive contents flexible and rich in culture knowledge. According to the inputhypothesis and the rhythm and body coordination theory, these characteristics canprovide sufficient comprehensible input for teaching, reducing learners’ anxiety,effectively cultivate learners’ sense of rhythm and sense of rhythm, so as to cultivatethe students language sense, improve the efficiency of learning. Jingle used inteaching Chinese as a foreign language, on one hand, help the students to improvetheir memory, reduce the burden of learning, to cultivate students’ interest in learning,active classroom atmosphere;on the other hand can be used to assist the Chinesepronunciation, vocabulary, grammar, rhetoric and culture, Chinese characters teaching,training students to enlarge students’ pronunciation pronunciation, Chinese vocabulary,memorizing discrimination display Chinese characters, rhetoric and plays a positiverole in promoting spread Chinese culture.The paper puts forward relevant suggestions and opinions for the jingle in theteaching. That should be selected content easy to understand, not vulgar; rhyming,rhythm is clear; short, concise words; close to life, reflecting the reality. The jinglesused in teaching, teachers should have a solid Chinese foundation of basic skills andknowledge of Chinese culture, to enhance the ability of its editing patter, to innovativeteaching ideas and teaching methods and encourage students to use and creat jingle.
