This paper aims at improving the physical exercise behavior theory model ofpredecessors, establishing a new emotion regulation intermediary role model and enrichingthe theoretical contents in the field of physical exercise. In addition, to verify the interventioneffect on improving exercise time for female college students by using the meta-cognitionintervention technique is another purpose of this paper. Method: Using questionnaires toinvestigate some basic situations including the physical exercise condition of female collegestudents. And on this basis, put forward and verify an intermediary role model of emotionregulation variables. Furthermore, study on the treatment effect of meta-cognitionpsychological intervention technology on physical exercise for female college studentsdesigning experimental group and control group(do pre-test and post-test).Results: Thefemale college students sedentary long and training time is too short.The ideal weight and theiractual weight is significant difference. The mediating effects of emotion regulation on actionplan and exercise time is significant. The variance of repeated measuring results of action plan,emotion regulation and exercise time from the experimental group or the control group issignificant difference. Conclusion: The female college students sedentary long and training time istoo short, but they are not satisfied with their actual body sizes. The intermediary role model ofemotion regulation is valid. Meta-cognition intervention technique can effectively intervenein the physical exercise behaviors of female college students.
