The Effect Of Self-esteem On Psychological Craving In The Male Compulsory Drug Abstainers

Staying at a high level of rehabilitation relapse, is considered as key point and difficulty in the narcotics control work.To discuss of the psychological reason that cause rehabilitation after the rehabilitates, and seeks effective method to help rehabilitation carry on the psychology to escape the addiction. So in the first study,14cases of male rehabilitation were tried as the interview, and carried on the nature analysis to the material of collection, and speculate that the positive psychological resources of rehabilitation have the inhibitory action to the craving. To further confirm this deduction, when the self-respect was one of the positive psychological resources of rehabilitation, it has the inhibitory action to the craving.So in the second study,in order to understand the correlation between the self-esteem and the craving,we use some questionnaires to investigate the self-respect and the craving of210male compulsory drug abstainers.Meanwhile, to explain, in the rehabilitation psychology earnestly seeks in the activated situation, the temporary enhancement of self-respect is helpful to the activation that suppresses the psychology through designing an experiment in the third study. First through entrusting with was tried to have the specific significance and has suggestion the way of appraisive role, affects tried self-respect level, then lets take for example looks with the narcotic related exciting picture, to activate the tried psychology earnestly seeks the level, finally earnestly seeks the change of level to refuse outright the theory through the psychology that the contrastive experiment measures.Under this research condition, can draw the following conclusion:(1) the positive psychological resources of rehabilitation have the inhibitory action to the craving.(2) self-respect and craving in the male compulsory drug abstainers have the remarkable inverse correlation relations.(3)entrusts with is tried the different role type, its self-respect level around measured that the demonstration has the significant difference, namely entrusts with the different role type to affect tried self-respect level; And entrusts with the successful merchant tried self-respect level must significantly be higher than to entrust with the rehabilitation tried self-respect level.(4) the level of craving who were entrusted with the successful merchant were lower than that who were entrusted with the defeat merchant role and the rehabilitation role, namely enhancement of self-respect is helpful to suppress the activated craving.
