During the Yuan Dynasty drama boom, many great writers had disappeared and Guan Han-Qing was one of the most famous of four at that time. His work is relativelycompleted and can form a more abundant and closed corpus system, which has strongoperability and is of high corpus research value mainly because of his writings and drama characters spoken language, which was quite close to the spoken language at thetime. Therefore, it has high research value, especially the drama off appositive phrase,which has a quite large and varied. It also has some characteristics of ancient Chinesegrammar, and relatively close to the appositive phrase in modern Chinese grammar.Thus, comparatively it has an academic value which in essence should be exploited.This paper contains six parts: Introduction. The first and second chapters areabout the appositive phrase composed of two nouns. The third and fourth chapters areabout the appositive phrase composed of pronoun and noun. The last part is theconclusion.The introduction contains topics of value, current research, research methods andanalysis of these concepts about what is appositive, grammatical relations ofappositive and appositive phrase. Illustrating the basic characteristics possessed by theappositive phrase with examples.The first chapter discusses the appositive phrase with prepositive superior words.The paper is divided into three structure types: the basic type, the modified type andthe nested type.The second chapter discusses the former noun in combination with the latternoun.Then; they are divided into more subcategories, and for each type of data madepossible detailed statistics and analysis.The third chapter discusses the most complex type of “a pronoun noun”.Wemade a detailed statistical and systematic analysis. Within the meaning of pronouns,the category is divided into first-person pronouns type, second-person pronouns type,and third-person pronouns type.The forth chapter mainly discusses two types: the type of“a pronoun noun”,andanother is “a pronoun pronoun”. The last part is the Conclusion, which conducts statistics&analysis of theappositive phrase types in Guan Han-Qing’s drama. We can grasp the detaileddevelopment history of the appositive phrase in the Yuan Dynasty.
