The Instructional Design Of The Chinese Proverb Teaching In Thailand University

Chinese proverb is one of the vigorous vocabulary, which enjoys high frequency in daily use. It’s a important means to spread Chinese culture and improve the communicative ability of Chinese learner because of the rich culture connotation and strong language expressive. It was always found as one of the tests in the HSK and Chinese bridge in these years. A foreigner will be thought very good at Chinese if he can say it genuinely. It is evident that introducing Chinese proverb into TCSL is essential.Chinese proverb is both an important and difficult point of TCSL. But it hasn’t caused enough concern and attention for various reasons. The present resrarch results lumped in ontological study mainly. So was the Chinese education of Thailand. Thailand is one of the countries which was influenced the most by "Chinese fever" The universities of undergraduate degree and above courses in Chinese language are increased yearly. But only a handful ones has chinese proverb course and have no uniformity of material and practice. So the research of Chinese proverb teaching of Thailand university is significant.So the author based on one year Chinese proverb teaching experience in Mae Fah Luang University of Thailand, analyzed the characteristic and studying culture of Chinese studying students of Thailand college deeply. And then the author referred to the existing syllabus, choosed words from more than50domostic authoritive textbooks. At last, a word library which is cinsisted of165words snd suitable for Cinese proverb teaching in Thailand as teaching contents was be sorted out. Under the guidance of Scaffolding Instruction, had a targeted and efficient instructional design of Chinese proverb course in Thailand university, in the hope of providing some useful reference for Chinese proverb teaching in Thailand in the future.
