Even though there are similarities in usage, the difference between Japanese and Chinese is not small. Especially in the premises of the preposition "zai". Prepositions are unknown to Japanese. Auxiliary words serve as their functional equivalence. The differences in quantity, position of sentence and semanteme function are great. To Japanese students, learning Chinese preposition is also a big difficulty. So how to resolve this issue is difficult yet important in the field of Chinese language teaching and researching. Preposition is a key point in researching and teaching Chinese to Japanese students. The current research on preposition is so broad.Different country errors and teaching research are also constantly developing. And there are a few studies on the Japanese students using the preposition "zai", but it isn’t comprehensive enough and in-depth to do researches in the corpus collection, bias classification, exploring reasons of errors. On the basis of inheriting predecessors’ research results and HSK interlanguage corpus, this paper starts from the six semantic of the preposition "zai", combining with Lu Jianji’s principles of bias classification, from macroscopic to microcosmic, abstract to concrete, induction and analysis of the errors. Then respectively from the Angle of ontology of Chinese and comparison between Chinese and Japanese, this study highlights the causes of the biased errors.The main creative pionts of this paper are:First, about comparison of the Chinese and Japanese preposition "zai", domestic published results are limited and specialized researches of the translation of words are almost blank. The paper visually analyzes semantic functions of Chinese preposition "zai" and the Japanese case-auxiliary words "に[ni],で[de]"in detail, which is main cause of replacement of such errors. Second, studies on "at+location" are plenty, but they fail to mark time, limits, conditions, which are related to "zai". Previous researches are identical when it comes to the cause of error type of the preposition "zai", and other information reflected in error cases are not noticed. This paper embarks from six semantics of the preposition "zai", comprehensively investigates the errors made by the Japanese learners in each situation. And combines the four error types, namely addition, missing, replacement, disorder, thus making analysis of error causes more regular and pertinent. Third, putting forward some teaching suggestions to solve the problem of bias. From the emphasis on grammar teaching, paying attention to the prepositions interpretation method, using comparative teaching method, training student to the sentence as a whole grasp several aspects. According to several common teaching mode and designed some simple practice.
