This is a translation project report of Harvesting Peace: Food Security, Conflict,and Cooperation by Emmy Simmons. It is a research report released by the WilsonCenter on September12,2013. In the report, the author analyzes the complexrelations between food security and conflict, and provides some suggestions from anacademic perspective. This translation report are divided into four parts: Part One isan overall introduction, including project background, objectives, significance andreport structure; Part Two is the translation theories adopted in this report and thebackground of the original text, including author introduction, main contents and theanalysis of the original text; Part Three, the major part of this report, presentspreparing work, main difficulties in translation and corresponding solutions; and PartFour, as a summary, concludes with the lessons, implications and unsolved problemsin the translation report.
