The Study On The Grammaticalization Of The Structure "V Bu C" In Northern Dialect

When comes to the grammaticalization of structure "V bu C", our predecessors oftenfocus on the reason why the structure "V bu C" can express possibility, some scholars maystudy the "V bu C" lexicalization simply. This paper described the grammaticalization ofstructure "V bu C" process in the northern dialect. We have explained the forms andmechanism of "V bu C" structure’s grammaticalization, besides that, we also analyzed thehighest form (the tone adverbs "V bu C") of the structure "V bu C" on theirgrammaticalization process. This article elaborated the distribution of the characteristics andspecies of the tone adverbs "V bu C" in the northern dialect, especially in Hebei dialect.We have explored the motivation that makes predicate-complement structures "V bu C"turning into the tone adverbs "V bu C".In the introduction, we summarized the research status and pointed out the significanceand methods of our research. We described the process in the grammaticalization of structure"V bu C", and we elaborated the distribution of the characteristics and species of the toneadverbs "V bu C" in the northern dialect in the first chapter. In the second chapter,we mainlyfocused on the tone adverbs "V bu C". We analyzed the numbers and types of the toneadverbs "V bu C" in northern dialect (especially in Hebei dialect).The tone adverbs "V bu C"are more likely to be associated with the possibility of an action, which may have somethingto do with the meaning of the possible predicate-complement structure "V bu C". We foundthat the tone adverbs "V bu C" are widely used in Hebei dialect, in addition to that, there are anumber of tone adverbs "V bu C" words and in this area. We have explored the motivationthat makes predicate-complement structures "V bu C" turning into the tone adverbs "V bu C"in the third chapter. The subjectivization plays a important role in the "V bu C" structure’sgrammaticalization.
