In the writer’s opinion, script translation is a comparatively special area in translation studies. And there are more research to be done in some branches, such as the original scripts, translation version scripts and translation methods. First, the writer introduces the project HOOPLA DOOPLA, which was produced by CCTV and ABC. Then, the wirter lists some difficulties which she needs to get over when translating. Second, based on Hans Vermeer’s Skopos Theory, from the angle of Susan Bassnett’s principle of performability, the writer analyzes the features of this script and the translation methods about HOOPLA DOOPLA by comparing the original translation and the fixed translation with three different roles. Becasue it is a no-dialogue scripts which is written for kids, the writer pays much attention to the dynamic tendency of words and gives prominence to the features of three different roles so as to help actors to perform. In thesis paper, examples in three roles are listed seperativly, so readers can get a better idea of each character and get a better realization about how the writer focusing on "the performability". Third, the writer tries to figure out the importance of a translator in script translation and their consciousness to get involved in the translation process. The best way of translating script is to meet actor’s requirements and keep adjusting until the translation version works well for actors.
