With the continuous development and prosperity of the cause of foreign language teaching, foreign language teaching career received more and more attention. Among them, the study of a foreign language textbook has always attached great importance to foreign language, and teaching materials play a crucial role in the foreign language teaching. It is directly related to the teaching quality and outcomes.In recent years, the boom in the ascendant learning Chinese in Thailand, Thai Foreign Language unprecedented career development But the situation in Thailand from Chinese textbooks used in schools point of view, there are many problems. Chinese textbooks used in various schools in Thailand lack of uniformity. Overall, the current Chinese source of widespread Thai school textbooks, there is, China Taiwan, Thailand eds and materials from China, Thailand prepared. A wide variety of materials, preparation of standards and teaching quality varies greatly. The content of textbooks with a lot of randomness, not too close to the Thai student life.Experiencing Chinese Middle School series grade one (hereinafter referred to as Experiencing Chinese) edited by the International Language Research and Development Center, Higher Education Press. Chinese textbook as an elective foreign short-term textbook, its content have been affirmed by Thailand Thai Ministry of Education and Thais’schools. Many Thai public school students learning Chinese used this series as their textbooks. Chinese Course edited by the Thai people who have studied in China. Thailand Vocational and Technical College student textbook designated its publishing. It has been published in Thailand for nearly a decade, with certain authority.The thesis mainly compared and analyzed to identify the difference between these two characteristics textbooks from editing ideas, texts, vocabulary, grammar, exercises and other aspects of Experiencing Chinese and Chinese Course. Writing concept started from the main comparative analysis of the principles and purposes of textbooks’edition. Texts were analyzed from the aspect of the subject, the text of practicality, fun and targeted texts, etc. Vocabulary words began with the quantity of new words, grade and the display of new words, notes and other aspects of comparative analysis. Grammatical syntax compared from the number of grammar points and the difficulty levels. Practice questions primarily analysis from the amount and kinds of questions. This thesis also through a questionnaire survey of students in two of the materials used feedback. In the last part of thesis, also proposed some targeted recommendations of teaching materials edition, hoping to provide some help for foreign language teaching materialsMaterials directly affect the effectiveness and quality of teachers and students in teaching and learning. We hope that through the comparative study of the two materials, textbooks and Thailand summarize all aspects of the advantages and disadvantages of the value of improvements in practice and perfect for learning Chinese Thais teaching has a positive meaning.
