With the rapid development of globalization, trade between China and other countriesin the world is increasing, and the importance of business Chinese is increasinglyprominent. In the teaching practice, teaching materials play an important role, and theydirectly influence the quality of teaching, so the study of business Chinese teachingmaterials has become extremely important.According to the characteristics and the location of business Chinese, this papercombines the comparison of the two business Chinese teaching materials-"ExperiencingChinese <business communication in China>" and "The Chinese for Managers<businesscommunication in China>", and makes comparison and analysis on the parts ofcompilation, vocabulary, grammar, text and exercise one by one. As for Vocabulary andText, the auther uses statistics charts methodology to grasp the differences of thevocabulary distribution and the business topics selection in the two books. As forGrammar, the two books both follow the principle which is less emphasis on grammar,enhanced communication, and list the useful sentence patterns after each passage to makeconvenience for learners. According to the different demands of learners, the editorsprepare some corresponding exercises.After exhaustive examination of the previous parts of the two books, and according tothe fundamental principles of compilation, as well as the characteristics of businessChinese, the author analyzes the advantages and disadvantages of these two teachingmaterials, learning from each other, and puts forward suggestions on the writing of the newtype of business Chinese teaching materials, hoping to provide certain reference for thewriting of future new business Chinese teaching materials.
