With the rapid development of China's economy, the number of people learning Chinese has increased year by year. This is both an opportunity and a challenge for the teaching of Chinese as a foreign language. At present, there are many bottlenecks in the teaching of Chinese as a foreign language in China. The biggest problem is the development of textbooks, which is increasingly being taken seriously by the academic community.A good textbook can not only improve the motivation of learners, make it more proactive, but also improve their ability to communicate. It can also improve the teaching level of teachers and make them better designed for the class. The author graduated from college in 2014 and has successively been recruited by the Hanban for Chinese language examinations and training at the Chinese Language Promotion Center of Jilin University. In September of the same year, the author was a qualified volunteer to perform Chinese language teaching at the Mongolian Universe Middle School.During a total of nine months of work there, the author has a deeper experience of the current use of textbooks in Mongolia.Due to the limited level of economic development in Mongolia, schools offering Chinese language classes are either lacking in textbooks or a single type of textbook. Many Chinese language schools will not be able to start classes until the National Hanban donation is in place, and many schools will use the same textbook to create multiple class types.Secondly, most spoken language textbooks are written for native English-speaking countries. Many elementary school students in Mongolia have not yet studied English or have weak English.Whether it is the translation of words, the introduction of grammar or the design of exercises, etc.A lot of English content is involved. In summary, this paper aims at the current situation of the lack of elementary Chinese oral teaching textbooks in Mongolia and has a comparative study of "Experience Chinese" and "Developing Chinese" used by the author in Mongolian teaching. And the author summed up the advantages and disadvantages of the two and hope to put forward more reasonable suggestions for the compilation of primary spoken language textbooks for Mongolian students in the future. This paper can be divided into four parts:The first part: introduction. It includes reason and significance of selecting thistopic, content and current research status,as well as the the principle of textbook compilation. The second part: combining with the author's Chinese teaching practice in Mongolia, the author compared and analyzed the two textbooks in detail from the task items, language elements, and after-school exercises included in the textbook, and proposed corresponding suggestions for improvement. The third part: based on the suggestions for the improvement of the two textbooks, and combined with the actual situation of Mongolian students, the author proposes to formulate reasonable suggestions for elementary Chinese oral textbooks used by Mongolian Chinese learners. The fourth part: conclusion.
