Learning motivation is important factor of learning outcomes to influence the second language learner, same as to the student of Thai vocational school. This thesis paper take second language learning motivation theories as theocratical direction, on the basis of previous research and via the method of issuing questionnaire, interviews after class, observation on the class to248students from Chanthaburi Technical College of Thailand, to come to a conclusion of the the types of motivation to influence the Chinese language study of Chanthaburi Technical College’s students, influence factors,the influent of motivation to the achievement of Chinese language learning, and the reaction of the achievement of Chinese language learning to the motivation.We found:1,the major, gender, family support and individual factor will influence the Chinese language learning motivation of Thai vocational school students.2, the Chinese language learning motivations of Thai vocational school students can divide into four categories, they are integrative motivation, instrumental motivation, intrinsic motivation and external motivation. The instrumental motivation play a large proportion among them.3, the Chinese language learning achievement of arts students in Thailand is much better than the students majored in technology. The learning motivation of Arts students present as instrumental motivation, it is related to the curriculum provision of Thai vocational school. The learning motivation of student majored in technical is integrative motivation or interest motivation. It presented as the student majored in technical focus and show their interest in Chinese special cultural factor.4, the Chinese language learning of students from Thai vocational school are united in class, the teacher pay attention to distinguish and lead the different learning motivation can achieve a more ideal teaching efficiency since the students from a class.This thesis paper have proposed the corresponding strategies and advises to enhance the Chinese teaching quality and achievement of Thai vocational school.
