| With the deepening of the teaching cooperation between Thai education department and Hanban in China,Chinese teaching(as a second language)has achieved steady and fast development in Thailand.Chinese has become one of the important choices for Thai students in second language learning,second only to English.With the continuous deepening of Chinese teaching activities in Thailand,problems gradually appear,especially in vocational colleges.By observing,investigating and recording actual teaching classroom,this study introduces current situation of Chinese-teaching in Samut Prakan Vocational School in Thailand,analyzes the problems in teaching,and puts forward the corresponding suggestions.This study consists of five parts.The first part briefly describes the background and significance of the topic,and explains the research methods.In literature review,the author sums up the current situation of vocational education in Thailand,Thai Chinese teaching situation and promotion of Chinese teaching in vocational education,and briefly describes the research outline.The second part mainly introduces the general situation,curriculum setting,teaching resources,teaching methods and problems existing in Chinese teaching in Thailand Samut Prakan Vocational School.The third part mainly introduces the situation of Chinese learners in Thailand Samut Prakan Vocational School,including the basic situation and the motivation of learners.The fourth part puts forward the improvement measures for the Chinese teaching in Thailand Samut Prakan Vocational School from five aspects: curriculum setting,teachers,teaching materials,schools and students.The fifth part summarizes the research results and presents the limitations.This study adopts the methods of interview,classroom observation and questionnaire survey to discover problems in Chinese teaching in Thailand Samut Prakan Vocational School,to study learners' learning motivation and to put forward improving measures. |
