In recent years, with the constant integration of economy and cultureof South Korea and China, the comparative study of these two languageshas been increasing. This paper focuses on the comparative analysis ofSouth Korean and Chinese adjectives. Meanwhile, some targeted discussionsof the teaching of Chinese as a foreign language have appeared. This papermainly analyses the errors of adjective usage by Chinese learners fromSouth Korea. With the basic research, the paper proposes and analyses thevocabulary grading outline of the newest words.This paper consists of the following chapters.The first chapter is the introduction. It expounds the genesis of thetopic, the purpose and significance as well as the literature review andthe research.The second chapter is an overview of Korean and Chinese adjectives.It discusses the definition, classification and characteristics of Koreanand Chinese adjectives.The third chapter is the comparisons between Korean and Chineseadjectives. It conducts an analysis of Korean and Chinese adjectives insemantics and syntax.The fourth chapter is an error analysis of adjectives used by Koreanstudents. It starts from the types and causes of errors, specificallyanalyses the corpus and proposes some solutions.The fifth chapter is the teaching strategies for vocabulary teaching.It describes the status of vocabulary teaching.The last chapter is the conclusion.
