Cultural industries are progressing fast in China that more and more talented people from companies and colleges are devoted into the field. Culture is a special kind of social phenomenon which reflects spiritual experiences and sustenance in people’s activities of production and life, in the meantime culture is a kind of historical phenomenon which reveals different historical periods. Culture seems to involve in every aspects of life experiences, but we can hardly use an exact ideology to express culture.The author holds that music is one of the most precious cultures, which not only reflects historical traditions and humanity demands, but also expresses a thinking of heritage from one generation to another. Based on this position, the author has seen its potentials in markets from its cultural functions. In the past, music had been attempted in cultural industries from many aspects, such as music publishing, music performances, movies, TV, and mass Medias, etc. But these are performed only in the same fields other than breaking through industrial boundaries. These developing modes may promote the progressing of music itself to some extent, but in the long run, they are not supposed to obtain the best effects. Thus, the author proposes that music should be applied into other industries of sustainable developments: cultural tourism industries. Music has already been practiced in cultural tourism industries, in which main and the most successful aspect results in tourism performances. Despite of their good effects when put in the market, they are not of a large scale, which is one of the limits. This article demonstrates the arguments of "Practices and innovations of music tourism industries applied with traditional music", to analyze existing appearances of music. There are abundant traditional music resources in China which have not been exploited and innovated properly. Accordingly, the author studies cultural tourism industries through their functions, target customers, brand buildings, and industry chain constructs, etc. Use a kind of traditional ancient music of Fujian Province which named "NAN YIN" for example, the author proposes suggestions in progresses of traditional music applied in music tourism industries, to expect a balance of the inheritance of traditional music and the development of music tourism industries.
