Research On The Chinese Language Environment And The Chinese Usage Of Chinese-Philippines Teenagers

Under the background of the global "Chinese hot",Chinese has been spreaded all over the world in full swings. In southeast Asian countries, Chinese communication has more advantages than other areas,yet the people who can speak Chinese become less and less except Singapore and Malaysia. The purpose of this article is through the Philippine Chinese teenagers’ Chinese language environment, and combined with the Chinese use present situation, trying to find the root to limit them to speak Chinese.This study combines with the method of documentary, the method of investigation and interviews. It focuses on the psychological language environment and the objective language environment. And from family, school and society three aspects to investigate the application of Chinese status.Propose some advice for building a fine Chinese language environment from two perspectives which are psychological and objective environment. First is the parents should try to teach the children to remember the Chinese customs and Chinese identity. Second is the parents should try to guide the children to speak Chinese as more as possible at home. Third is the teachers should encourage the students to speak Chinese more in the class, choose proper textbook. Forth is the school should held more Chinese culture related activities. Fifth is gather more support from the Chinese government and the Philippine government.
