Neologism is an important part of modern Chinese vocabulary system, one side of its appearance which reflects the development of Chinese society and the focus of attention. The teaching of Chinese as a foreign language should add a certain number of neologisms teaching, which seems to have become a conclusion on this point, previous research results quite good. But the neologism is placed very few studies textbooks, especially the neologism put comprehensive textbook research. Comprehensive textbook of Chinese learners as the backbone of materials, whether should be added a certain percentage of neologisms teaching? At what stage should be added? What are the similarities and differences existing Comprehensive textbook on dealing? Such treatment is reasonable? These are the focus of this article.There are five parts of this thesis, which is divided into five chapters.The first chapter is the preface. This part discusses mainly from the reason and significance of choosing topic, research based on and object, the definition of the subject, purpose and methods, textbooks, the instruments of choosing dictionaries and books and results of previous studies. It is worth mentioning that, in order to ensure scientific research, the paper chooses six sets of selected authoritative textbook for the study past decade. Considering the time factor of textbook published, the paper selects the "Modern Chinese Dictionary neologism,""New Words10000" and "Chinese Language Situation Report"(2005-2012) as a statistical Neologism reference standards,"modern Chinese Dictionary of New Words "as the main reference standard. If the time of neologism’s appearance differs from the neologism embodied in the dictionary, then further reference of "new words10000" and "Chinese Language Situation report"(2005-2012).The second chapter is to discuss necessity of embodying neologism in comprehensive textbooks. This section, we discuss the necessity of foreign language textbooks embodying Neologism, and then further discuss of the main course-necessity of embodying neologism in comprehensive textbooks.The third chapter is to present a static description of embodying neologism. This section, we strictly compare with the dictionary, and strive to achieve scientific and accurate statistical results of neologism. Then on this basis, further analysis of each single set of textbooks and the six sets of teaching materials turns out similarities and differences on the number of Neologism and classes of definition, discussed the difference of embodying neologism on different stage, the relationship of frequency of occurrence and common usage of neologism, as well as neologism trend in teaching materials, in order to acquire the overview of embodying neologism in current comprehensive textbook.The fourth chapter is a research of the degree of knowing and the usage about chinese learners on neologism. Through the questionnaire, the difference from the main test of different learning environments, different levels of chinese learners on knowing of neologism, as well as their attitude toward learning neologism. We further analyzed the factors of existing differences:Time of neologism generating and neologism appearing in the textbooks have a relationship. By analyzing the entire chapter, we have come out neologism should not only have some of the textbooks reflected in senior materials but also be properly joined in primary textbooks.The fifth chapter is the last chapter, mainly on the basis of previous analysis, the existing comprehensive textbook included neologism of the pros and cons were discussed, and on this basis, some tiny recommendations on embodying neologism.The main innovation of this paper is to design a questionnaire by using Excel and SPSS Statistics, which draws a conclusion of junior high levels of Chinese learners did not exist significant differences in attitude towards learning neologism, the purpose of the spirit of the principles of the teaching for learning, the paper put forward a bold conclusion, neologism embodied in textbooks should not be limited to the senior stage, but also should be inferred in the early stages.
