With the accelerate development of industrialization and urbanization,thenew-generation peasant workers gradually become the important force to promote thedevelopment of our society. Compared with the traditional migrant workers,thenew-generation peasant workers not only have some new characteristics,also face a newset of problems. the employment problem of new generation migrant workers not only hasa great influence in their family happiness and personal development,even will affect thesocial stability and economic sustainable development in our country.Do with somevocational guidance to new generation migrant workers,which is not only beneficial topromote them choose career effectively,make career development plans,also to optimizethe allocation of human resources, promote the development of social stability.Thusstrengthening guidance to new generation of migrant workers on career and how to choosecareer has important practical significance.This thesis contains four parts:Firstly,it starts with some basic conceptions,such as the connotation of new generationmigrant worker, vocational guidance, vocational guidance mechanism;elaborates relatedtheories about vocational guidance of new generation migrant workers;summarizesresearch status about the problems of new generation migrant workers and the solution toit.Which lays a foundation for further analyzing and studying something on vocationalguidance of new generation migrant workers.Secondly,questionnaire survey was conducted for new-generation peasant workers whowork in Suzhou.And some relevant departments were interviewed. We concludescharacteristics of new-generation peasant workers,such as strong plasticity, pursuingpersonal growth even more,higher occupational expectation,longing for life in thecity,poorer stability and so on;summarizes measures and experience about vocational guidance work of new-generation peasant workers in Suzhou from the results of thesurvey research,such as making some policy on vocational guidance,setting up networkservice platform. And also founds some questions:insufficient understanding of careerguidance,lack of pertinency,lack of professional consciousness.Thirdly,by investigation in Suzhou,combined with the five players who is government,vocational guidance institutions, vocational training institutions,enterprises andnew-generation migrant workers,shall bear their responsibility, we analyze and master thecauses of the problem in process of vocational guiding of new-generation peasantworkers:little support from governments,inefficiency of guiding result of vocationalguidance institutions,inactive role enterprises plays as a subject, lack of cooperation ofvocational training institutions and uninspiring of enthusiasm from new-generation peasantworkers.Finally,based on the problems and reasons in the process of vocational guidance ofnew-generation workers in Suzhou,the author proposes the four strategies for solving theproblems in vocational guidance of new-generation peasant workers:for government, toclear the government dominant role;for vocational guidance institutions,to promoteimplementation of vocational guiding;for enterprise and vocational training institutions,toparticipate in career guiding actively;for new-generation peasant,to improve professionalconsciousness.
